Western Australian Endurance Rider's Association Inc.

A family friendly sport that upholds the principles of sportsmanship, horsemanship and the spirit of endurance riding as embodied by the motto "to complete is to win"

What do our Volunteers Do?

This role is relatively simple, but very important.  At every ride we need someone to drive a car and float to go out and get anyone who, for whatever reason, cannot finish the ride and needs to come back to base.

To volunteer in this role we ask that you are confident towing a float and able to stay at the ride until the very last person has come in off track.  In the bigger and longer rides it is preferable if we have two volunteers in this role so that there isn't the same pressure on you.  Ideally you will use your own car and float, but there are some occasions where people will let you use their float.  This means that it is worth asking even if you can't use your own float but are happy to volunteer your time to drive someone else's as the rescue float.
